When will I get my refund, and how does it work?

Please allow the full return timeframe for your country, as explained in the return article, for your return to reach our warehouse and be processed. 

Once we’ve processed your return, you’ll receive an email with the details of your refund. Refunds are automatically issued to the payment method used for your original order.

It may take up to 10 working days for the refund to appear in your account - this depends on your bank or payment provider.  

As eu.topshop.com is powered by ASOS, please note that any refunds for items purchased on the Topshop site will appear as a credit from 'ASOS.com' on your selected payment provider. For more information, please visit our Ts&Cs.

How will I receive my refund? 

You’ll be refunded back to your original payment method - we can’t refund you to a different payment method. 

  • If your card is no longer in use, the refund will still go back onto the account linked to your old card, providing that account is still open.
  • If you paid using PayPal Pay in 3, your refund will be processed based on PayPal's policies, and any changes to your payments or instalments will be applied. If you have any questions, check out the PayPal website or get in touch with their customer services.
  • If you applied a promo code, you'll see a breakdown of each discount at checkout and in your order confirmation email. If you need to make a return, you'll see this reflected in any refunds you may receive.   

Can I get a refund on my delivery charges? 

If you paid for delivery, this would only be refunded for orders cancelled under the Consumer Contract Regulations 2011/83/EC (Consumer Rights Directive), if the entire order was returned within 14 days of it being delivered, or if the item was faulty.
