Home Docs DELIVERY

Will my parcel be charged customs and import charges?

Orders delivered to EU mainland addresses aren't subject to customs or import charges, but this can vary by country. In most cases, any customs or import duties are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. Our delivery partner will contact you by SMS or email if any import or duty charges need to be paid.

You may be charged handling fees and taxes as your order passes through customs. Any charges on a parcel must be paid by the person receiving the parcel.

Topshop has no control over these charges and is unable to advise on the cost, as customs policies and import duties vary by country. If you don't agree with any charges applied, please contact the carrier directly.

It might be a good idea to contact your local customs office for current charges before placing an order, to avoid unexpected costs.

Please note that Topshop cannot pay these charges on your behalf or refund any customs, duty or handling fees.

If you place an order for the Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla, Andorra, or a destination outside the European Union, additional shipping charges may apply. These charges are applied once the parcel arrives in the destination country or territory.

Canary Islands handling fees

Orders delivered to the Canary Islands may incur shipping handling fees. Although parcels valued under €150 no longer require a Single Administrative Document (SAD), carriers must still register all incoming parcels with the regional government.

Handling fees may vary depending on the value of the parcel and other factors:

  • Orders from €0 to €22: No additional charge.
  • Orders from €22 to €150: An additional charge of up to €16 may apply.
  • Orders over €150: An additional charge of up to €21.50 may apply.
