5 Reasons You Should Still Dress Up At Home This Party Season

For us, the most exciting thing about party season are the clothes. And although we’re more than likely just going to be alternating between our own kitchens and living rooms this year, we still want to have a little bit of fun with our outfits. We have a whole section dedicated to dressing up on site right now and we’re sure you’re going to be obsessed with absolutely everything in it. Still not convinced that dressing up at home is for you? Scroll now to see some of our favourite outfits that boast five reasons why it will make this party season just as fun…

1. Seriously special

Since you’re staying in, this gives you the perfect opportunity to try something a little out of your comfort zone. Take our bronze satin suit as the perfect example: it’s definitely dressy but it’s not your classic LBD or jeans and a nice top. Style simply with a lace bra underneath and some standout gold heels and jewellery.

2. Proper party girl

You can never have too many glittery dresses in your wardrobe at this time of year, so if you’re looking for something to get you in that party mood, we may have just found it. We’d styled this bronze mini dress the best way we know how: cue platform heels, faux fur and a mini bag.

3. Cosy but chic

If you want to feel dressed up at home, but you’re not all about the sparkles and party dresses, then our knitted brown corset, cardigan and skirt set is a good compromise. It feels very comfortable to wear but the sophisticated colour and midi length makes it feel elevated. Style with brown boots and a brown bag for the ultimate monochromatic chic look.

4. Green velvet

Nothing screams festive like a green velvet dress and we’ve fallen in love with this one for its mini length and knot detail. Make it extra cosy with our oversized borg jacket and add a cool girl edge with some chunky black boots. Finish accessorising with some gold jewellery and you’re good to go.

5. Sparkles please

Jeans and a nice top might be your thing when it comes to a night out, but to make that feel a little more special for right now, switch out your jeans for some tailored trousers and go for a black and silver colour scheme. This outfit feels super fun which we think is exactly what you need right now…
