Socialising has been looking a little different for quite some time now but, right now, it’s all about the takeaway. Turns out, whether you’re missing Friday night drinks at the pub or your brunch on a Sunday, you can pretty much get whatever you want either to take out or get delivered straight to your door. We searched for all the best places in London that we think you should definitely check out this weekend – from the best fish and chip shop to the most scenic place to have a pint. Enjoy…
1. Princess of Wales

Starting off with what’s on everyone’s mind: the pub. Located in the heart of Primrose Hill, this top pub spot is serving everything from Aperol spritzes to mulled wine to go and takeaway roasts, making it the ultimate Sunday afternoon spot. And remember if you’re here, then you’re right next to one of London’s best walking destinations accompanied with a great view of the skyline.
2. Popina

Missing Sunday brunch? Us too. Luckily, independent cafe Popina is still delivering its much-loved dishes via Deliveroo and UberEats. Plus, they’re open everyday from 8am-3pm if you’re looking to pick something up instead. Think French toast, shaksuka, cinnamon porridge and so much more that’s for sure a not-to-miss.
3. Borough Market

If you just really can’t decide what it is you’re craving, heading to Borough Market is probably a good idea. We were so excited to find out this hot spot was staying open, because not only does it have great food but it’s also a nice venture out of the house if you’re starting to feel a bit bored. But, if you live within a 3.5 mile radius you can also have anything delivered. Win win.
5. Ladies and Gentleman

One of our favourite places we’ve found for takeaway cocktails has to be Ladies and Gentleman in Kentish Town. Their eco-pouch disco cocktails start from just £5 and include everything from a Pornstar Martini to a classic gin and tonic. These are available via Deliveroo, pickup and post – simply pour over ice and you’re good to go.
5. Patty & Bun

For something a little different, citywide chain Patty & Bun is not only offering takeaway and delivery but DIY at-home kit versions of their Ari Gold and Smokey Robinson burgers. And more recently, they’ve teamed up with Cahoots London to bring you a box which contains two Keep Calm burgers and two Spicy Rupee cocktails – this is perfect for an at-home date night.
6. Sutton and Sons

Sometimes, all we’re after is classic fish and chips. And since Sutton and Sons are award winners in this department, we’re turning to them. Discover both their regular and vegan menus that you can collect from either of its three locations across London or have delivered to your door if you’re not willing to brave the cold. You really can’t go wrong.
7. Trailer Happiness

What we’re really pining for right now, is that holiday feeling. To get a taste of something tropical, head to Trailer Happiness in Notting Hill for both their Polynesian style cocktails and Caribbean inspired food that will make you feel somewhere far, far away. This is where you’ll be finding us on Saturday nights for the foreseeable…
