6 Outfits Inspired By Every Single Ariana Grande Album To Recreate Now

Christmas has come early this year, because – if you haven’t already heard – Ariana Grande’s latest album Positions has dropped today. We’re going to be spending the entirety of this weekend learning all the words to every single song, but before that, we styled six different outfits inspired by all of her Ariana albums to celebrate the release. Whether you’re a long-term fan looking to reminisce on Yours Truly, or just ready to stan the new album in every way possible, we’ve got something for you. Enjoy…

1. Yours Truly

For Ariana’s very first album, we’re looking back to the era of skater skirts and hair bows. To master the ultra-girly aesthetic of this album, we would go for a combination of different shades of pink like a floral mini dress paired with a pastel knit. Accessorised with a matching headband and handbag combination and trainers it will feel like 2013 all over again.

2. My Everything

If you remember Ariana’s cat ear phase around the time of the release of My Everything in 2014, that’s your last-minute Halloween costume idea sorted. Or, for something more year-round appropriate, a cute black dress with fun socks, heels also completely encompasses the vibe. Adding a cute scrunchie never goes amiss for this look either.

3. Dangerous Woman

Perfect for this time of year, Dangerous Woman gives us all the PVC and lace textures we love during the colder months. Our liquid vinyl trench in black was practically made to celebrate this album, and styled with a lace bodysuit, a PU skirt and some killer boots, you’ll look like you should have been on the cover as well.

4. Sweetener

A slight switch of key here, as the Sweetener album art was all about the baby pinks and – of course – Ariana’s newly bleach blonde hair. Keep it subtle with a muted pink dress paired with an oversized white borg jacket to match the colour scheme. Then, add some knee high boots which Ariana was wearing constantly back then and finish it off with a baby-pink mask.

5. thank u, next

The iconic thank u, next music video took inspiration from Mean Girls, so, to channel that all-American Regina George look, start with a checked mini skirt and add a cropped cardigan – preferably in pink. Then combine it with a backpack for the schoolgirl vibes and a faux fur scrunchie for that touch of Y2K. You were so supposed to be in the video…

6. Positions

Last but not least, to master the Positions look, you’re going to be looking for something powerful. Ariana dons Miss President-esque looks in the music video, so a staple cream suit appears to be your best bet here. Make sure to accessorise with a matching heels and handbag to look ultra put together and finish with some feline sunglasses – because that’s what Ariana would do.
