5 Things To Do In London This Month If You Want To Treat Yourself

Right now, things feel a little bleak and you might be lost on ideas of what to do during your weekends. But don’t despair, there are plenty of ways to shake things up and make yourself feel better – inside and out. Sometimes there’s nothing better than treating yourself to something special, so we rounded up the top things you can treat yourself to in London this month if you’re in need of a little pick-me-up. From the healthiest roast around to getting a TikTok famous manicure, here are five things you just have to do this month…

1. Get a health boost

TEASE in South Kensington serves drinks that are so pretty you’ll want to take tonnes of Instagram pictures of them before you even take the first sip – but with an added health boost. The autumn menu boasts a variety of hot tea based drinks that will not only tease your taste buds, but will keep you fit during the winter months by packing a whole bunch of ingredients that are so good for you. This month, you have to try the Beau-Tea made with Rose, Pink Pitaya and Chia and combined with Chamomile and Almond milk that was created in a partnership with ‘Against Breast Cancer’. TEASE will be donating all proceeds from the sale of their Beau-Tea in support of the amazing work contributing towards breast cancer research.

2. Get your nails done

There’s nothing quite like a fresh manicure to change your entire mood, so take some time for yourself this month and book an appointment to get your nails done. We recently discovered Serenity Nails & Beauty via the TikTok above – a small salon in Earl’s Court, that will pretty much make anything you ask them for happen. Ombre nails? Each nail a different colour? Coffee-coloured swirls? You name it, they’ll do it. Not sure what to go for? We have some ideas here

3. Go for a vegan roast

We all know how wholesome going for a Sunday lunch can be – it’ll definitely make you feel like you’ve got your life together. This month, we’d recommend going for a vegan option – and don’t be fooled, they can be just as good as the real thing, but way healthier. The Spread Eagle, London’s first 100% vegan pub, has just launched their brand new Sunday Roasts which include Beet Wellington, a deceptively meaty spin on the classic dish, an updated Spread Eagle version of the classic Nut Roast with walnuts and cashews encased in savoy cabbage and Pot Roast Celeriac, served with groundbreaking vegan ‘crackling’. Sounds good? It tastes even better.

4. Get your culture fix

Want to finally get back to an art gallery? This autumn, the Tate Britain will present a landmark exhibition dedicated to JMW Turner, exploring what it meant to be a modern artist during his lifetime. It will reveal how Britain’s greatest landscape painter found new ways to capture the momentous events of his day, from technology’s impact on the natural world to the dizzying effects of modernisation on society. If you really want to get whisked away in your imagination, this is the activity for you.

5. Send yourself some flowers

Getting tired of staring at your same four walls? Refresh the look of your home by sending yourself a bunch of flowers. Trust us, it will instantly make you feel so much better. We currently love BloomPost, as – alongside their regular line of fresh flowers – they now also offer dried blooms that will last forever!  That means your home can look refreshed all winter long and serve as a continuous boost of happiness.
