We may change these terms and conditions from time to time without notice to you. Changes will apply to any subsequent orders received. Once your order has been confirmed, we will not be able to make any changes to the terms that apply to that order.

Purchase of Products

When you place an order on our website we shall email you an order confirmation email. Our acceptance of your order does not take place until despatch of the order, at which point the contract for the purchase of goods will be made and you will be charged.

Once you have checked out and you have received your order confirmation email you will not be able to make any changes to your order so please make sure that everything is correct before clicking the ‘CONFRIM & PAY’ button.

Any discounts triggered by the entry of a promotional code will not be applied until the order is accepted but will be detailed on the invoice.

We reserve the right to refuse an order. Non-acceptance of an order may, for example, result from one of the following:

    * The product ordered being unavailable from stock
    * Our inability to obtain authorisation of payment
    * The identification of an error within the product information, including price or promotion
    * If we suspect any fraudulent activity


If there are any problems with your order we shall contact you. We reserve the right to reject any offer to purchase by you at any time. We will take all necessary measures to keep the details of your order and payment secure..
Prices are subject to change without notice. These changes will not affect orders that have already been despatched. Prices are inclusive of VAT (where applicable).

Goods are subject to availability. As there is a delay between the time when the order is placed and the time when the order is accepted, the stock position relating to particular items may change. If an item you have ordered becomes out of stock before we accept the order we shall notify you as soon as possible and you will not be charged for the out of stock items.

We continually update our website. From time to time our stores may run special local promotions (which may not be available on our website) or we may offer special discounts online that are not available in stores. Additionally, some website promotions may not be available to customers in particular jurisdictions.

We aim to deliver your order within the number of days shown for your country in the table above. However, sometimes during busy sale periods, deliveries may take longer. Please note that Saturday and Sunday are not classed as working days. If you have not received your delivery within the number of days shown for your country in the table above please contact our  Customer Services department.

Please note that all orders are shipped from the UK.

Your order may be delivered by either your local postal service or by a courier. Depending on your area, most orders will be delivered by local postal service so the parcel will be received with your regular mail. If you are not home when the delivery is made, a notice card may be left by the postal service to advise on how and where your delivery can be collected.

Larger orders will be delivered by courier. The courier may leave your order with a neighbour. If you are not home when the delivery is made, a notice card may be left by the courier service to advise on how and where your delivery can be collected. A signature may be required for larger deliveries. If you would like to specify a safe place or a particular neighbour for your parcel to be left with, you can add these instructions in the space provided on the checkout page.

TRACKED AND FASTER DELIVERY

UK Bank holidays are not classified as delivery days, please allow an extra working day for deliveries over UK Bank Holidays detailed below:

Tracking Your Order

In order to track your order with us, you will need to have your tracking number with you. This can be located on your despatch confirmation email.

 

If your tracking number begins with RML, unfortunately, we are unable to track these parcels at present.

 

Most parcels will reach their destination within 2 weeks, however, some destinations may require additional time allowed for parcels to arrive.

If you have paid on your debit, credit or charge card you will only be charged once the goods have been dispatched to the delivery address. We will email you to confirm dispatch.

The prices shown on our website include any VAT (or similar sales tax) at the prevailing rate for which we are responsible as the seller. The amount you pay will be the price indicated plus any delivery charges. The delivery charges will depend on the delivery option that you choose and will be shown during the checkout process.

We charge you for your order in EUROS. The actual price charged to customers outside the European Monetary Union will be subject to the exchange rate applied by their credit or debit card company. There is no customs/import duty on the movement of goods within the European Union so it is unlikely that any customs/import duty will arise on your order if you are a customer in the European Union but if any duty is payable, you will be liable for it. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, therefore you are advised to check the latest applicable local requirements in your country before placing an order.

 

All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to, or does not for any reason, authorise payment then you will be notified of this immediately at the check-out stage.

In assessing your request for goods or services, we may use your information for the purposes of the prevention and detection of fraud. One of the purposes for which we may disclose your address and postcode details is to check against the IMRG Security Alert or any other Fraud Prevention Scheme. HOW IT WORKS

When you reach the checkout process at eu.topshop.com (or any participating retailer) you will have the opportunity to register for either Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode. Simply sign-up for the service following the online instructions that are linked directly to your card issuer, set up your new personal password once your card issuer has confirmed your identity, and continue shopping.

This is a one-off registration process, so you will be able to use the same password for all future purchases you make with participating retailers.

Returns

We guarantee to refund any item purchased on our website that you are not completely happy with when you return it to us in a saleable condition by post within 14 days of receipt. You are required to return unwanted orders by post at your own cost. In addition, customers in the Netherlands who are not completely happy with an item can return it to us (in a saleable condition) at the Topshop/Topman store at 48-52 Kalverstraat, Amsterdam within 28 days of receipt.   Please note, not all items can be returned to the store.  All items that are part of our concession brand collections can only be returned by post. These items are clearly marked on your despatch note with an ‘**’ at the end of the product description.

Refunds will be credited to your original method of payment.  Orders paid for using split payment (part gift card, part other payment method) will always be refunded to the gift card(s) first.  Any remaining balance will be paid back to the other payment method originally used.

In the interests of hygiene we do not offer refunds on pierced jewellery, underwear, swimwear or cosmetics if the hygiene seal has been removed, unless they are of unsatisfactory quality or unfit for purpose. Please also note that items must be returned with all of the barcode tags intact and with the despatch note you received enclosed.

 

Your statutory rights are not affected by our returns policy.

In addition, if you are in the European Union you have the right to cancel your contract with us and return your items by post within 14 calendar days from the day after the date you received your order.  Please see RIGHT TO CANCEL for details.

You can return an item by post within 14 days of receipt. You are required to return unwanted orders  at your own cost.

The refund will be processed once your goods are received into our warehouse. Please allow 28 days from the day the parcel is posted for your refund to be processed. We will email you to let you know once your parcel has been received and your refund has been processed.  Please note that it may take 2-3 working days for the refund to show in your account. Each item returned is refunded separately, and will show on your statement as a refund / credit from Topshop. You will be refunded on to the card that the goods were purchased with. If your card expires before we process your refund please contact our Customer Services Team with your order number, postcode and new card details.

For your convenience, customers in the Republic of Ireland and The Netherlands can go to their nearest store to return an item, excluding those in department stores. Please ensure that you take your despatch note with you as your proof of purchase. You will also require the card that was used to purchase the order online. If you are not the cardholder for the order, they will need to be present at the time of return to store to accept the refund back onto their credit/debit card.

Please note that we do not offer refunds or exchanges on items bought on our website to stores other than to the Topshop/Topman store at 48-52 Kalverstraat, Amsterdam. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you.

RETURNING GOODS BOUGHT AS SPECIAL OFFER
If you return a single item bought as part of a multi-buy discount offer (for example 'buy 2 for £20.00') you will be refunded the full price of that item less the total discount given in the offer. If you return all items purchased with the multi-buy discount you will be refunded with the full multi-buy value.

For combination purchases ("buy one, get one free" or "get the lowest priced item free"), you must return any free items or vouchers back for us to process a refund.


7 DAY COOLING-OFF PERIOD

In addition to our returns policy, if you reside in the EU, under the Distance Selling Regulations you can cancel your order at any time before the expiry of the period of seven working days beginning the day following receipt of your order (unless it is a purchase of financial services, food, drink or other perishable products; DVDs, CDs or software which have been unsealed; magazines; or tailor-made / customised products). Order cancellations must be made in writing to Customer Services quoting your order number. In this case, we will provide a full refund of the cost of the item and original delivery charge, but you must return the cancelled items to us at your cost. If we do not receive the cancelled items back, we may arrange to collect them from you at your cost. If you cancel your order under the Distance Selling regulations, we will refund the purchase price of the item(s) affected and the delivery charges.

RETURNING GOODS WHICH ARE OF UNSATISFACTORY QUALITY OR UNFIT FOR PURPOSE

You are required to return these items by post at your own cost.  Please allow up to 28 days from the day the parcel is posted for your refund to be processed. In addition, customers in the Netherlands can return them to the Topshop/Topman store at 48-52 Kalverstraat, Amsterdam. Refunds will be credited to your original method of payment.

In addition to our returns policy, if you are a customer in the European Union you have the right to cancel your contract with us within 14 calendar days from the day after the date you received your order.  This right does not apply to the following items: (1) items that have been sealed for hygiene reasons (e.g make-up, underwear, swimwear or pierced jewellery) if the seal has been broken; (2) CDs and DVDs if the seal has been broken; and (3) items that have been made to the customer’s specification or that are personalised.  You will be responsible for the cost of returning a cancelled order to us.

To exercise your right to cancel follow the steps below:

  1. Print off the cancellation form provided in the “Information About your Right to Cancel” document in your order confirmation email and include it with the items when you return them.You can also access a copy of the Cancellation Form here.  Alternatively, write to us by email (customercare@arcadiagroup.com) or include a letter with the items when you return them.  Please state that you wish to cancel your contract and include your full name, address and order number. 
  2. Return the items to us by post at your own cost and no later than 14 calendar days after the day that you sent us the Cancellation Form or other written notice of your cancellation.  Please download a returns label here and once completed, affix it to the parcel and take it to your local posting office.   

We will refund to you the price paid for the items and (unless you did not pay for delivery) the delivery charges that you paid up to a maximum amount of the cost of our Standard Delivery option.  You will be refunded to your original method of payment within 14 calendar days of our receipt of the cancelled items or, if earlier, within 14 days from the day we receive proof of return from you. Orders paid for using split payment (part gift card, part other payment method) will always be refunded to the gift card(s) first.  Any remaining balance will be paid back to the other payment method originally used. If we do not receive the cancelled items back, we may arrange to collect them from you at your cost. 

Any items ordered remain our property until we receive full payment.

Statutory Rights

However, as the actual colours you see will depend on your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the product on delivery.


All sizes and measurements are approximate, however we do make every effort to ensure they are as accurate as possible. Unless otherwise stated, sizes indicated are UK sizes. Please refer to the size guide for clarification.

UK Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations (SI 2006 No. 3289)

So that you can get your old electrical products recycled, Arcadia have contributed toward the development of recycling collection points (known as ‘Designated Collection Facilities) throughout the UK through our membership of the Distributor Take Back Scheme (DTS).

UK households dispose of over 1.2 million tonnes of electrical and electronic waste every year. This is the equivalent of 150,000 double decker buses and would be enough to fill the new Wembley Stadium 6 times over. Much of the UK's electronic waste ends up in landfill sites, where toxins put communities at risk.

To remind you to recycle, all new electrical products are marked with a crossed out wheeled bin symbol.
 
WEE compliance
Not all council sites are suitable to collect all types of waste electrical goods. To find out your nearest participating site and for advice on all aspects of recycling at home, please visit www.recycle-more.co.uk.

For French Customers
Applicable regulations are provided in the French Environmental Code, articles R. 543-172 et seq.

So that you can get your old electrical products recycled, a number of accredited eco-organisms are responsible for the collection and treatment of wastes from electrical and electronic equipments (WEEE). They have contributed to the development of recycling collection points (known as ”Point de collecte”) throughout France.

France produces over 20 kilos of WEEE per inhabitants per year.

To remind you to recycle, all new electrical products are marked with a crossed out wheeled bin symbol.

For German Customers
Applicable regulations are provided in the German Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act ("ElektroG").


You are obliged to place your waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) in a local authority collection separate from other domestic waste. These products are marked with a crossed out wheeled bin symbol:

The improper disposal of WEEE can harm the environment and human health. Electrical and electronic products consist of many different substances; these include substances that are harmful to environment and health such as cadmium, lead or quicksilver.
Public waste management authorities have set up collection points in their districts to which final holders and distributors may return WEEE from private households in the vicinity (bring-back system). Public waste management authorities might also have set up a collection system to collect WEEE directly from private households (collection system). For detailed information regarding the possibilities of recycling or disposal in an appropriate way, see your local waste calendar or contact your city and/or municipal administration.

Instructions regarding the disposal of batteries (German Battery Act – "BattG")
Batteries must not be disposed together with your household waste. In order to guarantee a proper disposal, you are required to return old batteries. You can return old batteries to a municipal collection centre or a local retailer. Please note that the return of batteries to a local retailer is restricted to a reasonable amount of batteries and is restricted to the type of batteries offered in its range of products.
